  Through word of mouth recommendation, I found myself at Tighe Jewellery Studio (Kingsway), after having exhausted every option I could think of to replace or repair a Fossil bracelet permanently worn and dearly cherished by my husband. It was not worth a great deal of money, but I had bought if for him as a gift a number of years ago after I spent a chunk of time (the longest we have ever been apart) overseas due to study commitments.
  
  About two years ago, he discovered the tiny stainless steel plaque (with 'Fossil' stamped in it) was missing from the front of the bracelet. He was devastated, and could not bring himself to wear it thereafter. I tried to reassure him it didn't matter, and offered to find a similar replacement, but no - he only wanted THAT bracelet. I literally searched all over the world for another one, but it was discontinued. I even tried contacting Fossil head office in Europe, but to no avail.
  
  Enter Jess and Graham at Tighe, who came to the rescue when they agreed to take on the task of creating a replacement plaque. Sounds simple enough, right??! Nope! The amount of time, energy and effort they invested in fixing this bracelet with nothing but priceless sentimental value was astounding. Being the perfectionist that he is, Graham worked with a colleague and a micron engraver to create a facsimile 1.5mm font that could be engraved onto a tiny sterling silver plate and then installed in the existing bracelet. This required countless attempts before he had a plate that approximated the original - and that he was happy to show me!
  Needless to say, it was PERFECT - but it looked even more incredible once in the bracelet, and I was ecstatic with the result.
  
  When I gave it to my husband over the weekend for our wedding anniversary, he was completely speechless and overwhelmed with emotion, because he thought he would never see the bracelet again. It meant so much to both of us to have something with that much sentimental value restored to its former glory, and it would not have been possible without the kindness, compassion, understanding, commitment and work ethic demonstrated by Graham and all of the staff at Tighe Jewellery Studio.
  
  I also have no doubt that the small amount Graham charged did not cover the expense and effort required - but when I questioned this, Graham assured me that he was just happy to be a part of our celebration. Tighe Jewellery Studio helped to make our anniversary such a memorable one, and for that I will always be truly grateful.
